Our services

Heritage is not stored -
it is passed on

Every family holds something worth preserving: stories, photographs, recipes, traditions and treasured heirlooms. Together, they tell a story that belongs only to you.

At Family Archive, we help you create a private, unique archive - a home for your family’s heritage. Our tailored service begins with listening. We recognise every family member as a storyteller, helping each person explore what they wish to pass on and how they would like it to be remembered.

Step by step, we bring these individual contributions together into a shared family archive. We help you discover the value of your family’s history, both to those closest to you and within the wider story of the places, communities and times that shaped it.

If you could give future generations one part of your world, what would it be?

Let’s begin there.

  4. Decide where you will keep it

  5. Create your family tree

  6. Catalogue your traditions

  7. Structure your digital and physical archives

  8. Organise your heirlooms

Three ways to begin

Every family archive is different. These are the ways we work with families.

Strategy session

The first conversation

2 hoursa written family archive plan€200

We sit down with you, listen, and look at what your family already holds: photographs, papers, heirlooms, and stories still waiting to be told. Together we decide what to preserve, where to keep it and where to begin. You leave with a written plan for your family archive.

The Family Archive

A project of three to six months

From €2,500international and multi-generation projects from €8,000

Step by step, we bring each family member’s contribution together into one archive:

  • Conversations with family members, each one a storyteller
  • Organising and cataloguing papers, photographs and heirlooms
  • Your family tree
  • A finished keepsake: a bound book or album, and a digital copy of the archive

Additions

  • Archival research: searches in state, church and private archives, charged by the hour, with the archives’ own fees at their rates.
  • Recorded interviews: voices and stories recorded with care and preserved in sound. Price on request.
  • A heritage journey: we accompany your family to the places it comes from. Price on request.

Every archive begins with a conversation.
